Would like advice on orange trees - how to prune and what to do when the leaves turn yellow.

Also advice on our fragipani plant (about 3 feet high and planted in a pot outside which we bought in January and carefully sheltered over the winter months. It has produced lots of green leaves this summer but no flowers.

Help with daisy-flowering perennials - I bought several of these in Spanish garden centres and have deadheaded regularly after flowering. I have two questiions - (1) does deadheading really promote more flowers or if I never bothered would plants bloom anyway. (2) Do the stems always go woody and unattractive after a year or so - as does my lavender.

Take care when pruning woody perennials. Yes they do need pruning but before they get too woody or too tall as you have to prune back ONLY to the green wood and not into the woody bit as they could die or just sulk for some time ....so prune little and often during the dormant period
