Plants for very wet ground

Hi I have just joined this forum and wondered if anybody would give me suggestions for planting in ground that is sopping wet. We think we may have an underground spring.

Firstly you have to decide which way to go! Either create a bog garden and I will envy your good fortune especially if you can add a natural pond. OR go the other way and drain water into a reservoir for irrigation. Either way to have plenty of water easily available is tremendous good fortune. I have to pump mine from 25metres down with the expense of the electricity consumed
