Is it true that it is against the law to cut down an unwanted palm tree? I heard a neighbour saying he had to get in touch with the town hall to have it officialy removed. He wants it down as it is blocking his satellite dish.
I have not heard that you need to contact the council UNLESS IT IS INFECTED WITH THE PALM BEETLE AND THEN YOU HAVE TO INFORM THEM AND GET A CONTRACTOR WHO IS LICENCED
