Hi, first post and first year of growing in containers on a terrace. I lived in Ibiza for 20 years before moving to the mainland 7 years ago. My wife wanted me to have a hobby that kept me at home and I think she is now regretting saying it!
Anyway I do have a few problems I hope someone can help me with.
Firstly my pumpkins have grown to over 6 feet yet are still not producing more than the odd female flower which duly falls off very quickly before opening.
Admittedly I have been greedy I think by putting two plants in a 10 inch pot or one in a 7 inch one. All have shown signs of problems with the lower leaves going brown and drying up. I have watered well and fed once a week.
Any ideas as to if I'm now wasting time even though I have cut the 10 inch pots down to one plant?
